Sunday Update

Robyn was able to get out of her bed last night for a walk. I'm sure it was nice to stretch her legs since she hadn't walked further than her bedside in over a week. Obviously, she is weak, but determined to gain some of her strength and muscles back. Her weight is down to 110 from 116 and it seems most of that weight was from her muscles.

Mornings are difficult for Robyn as she can't seem to get comfortable. Afternoons and evenings tend to be alright, but the mornings can be aggravating. Today the doctors gave her something that she can take so the morning hours are more comfortable for her.

On another note, I'd like to take this time to thank Robyn's loving husband, Aaron. He is a fabulous advocate for her and such a wonderful person to have by her side. Robyn is truly blessed to have found the "right one" and we are all grateful for him in her life. Thank you Aaron for all you do - especially right now balancing your time between the hospital with Robyn and home with Lola. XO

Hello Robyn,
Have just finished reading about you on your blog site, and wanted you to know that Karma and I will be in prayer for you as you fight the infection and that you will also be able to get a perfect match for a lung transplant. I also wanted to wish you a belated Happy 35th Birthday. You have a wonderful family, Lola is such a doll. I really enjoyed meeting Aaron when
we were up in Ann Arbor, a few years ago and it was Brad's Birthday. One of my favorite
scriptures in the bible is found in Psalms 91, a very comforting and
reassuring passage.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
May God keep you and Bless you,
Dave and Karma

Hi Robyn,

We want you to know that we love you very much and that I know from the years of knowing you that you are a fighter and a strong person. We are praying for you and that you will be able to fight this infection and go home to your family. Happy belated Birthday. I'm glad that you got to spend time with Lola. She is so beautiful, what a smile. Her smile reminds me of yours. If there is anything that we can do for you and your family just say the word and we will help out in anyway. I know that my sister loves you so much. You have been a great best friend to her and I'm thankful that she has someone like you in her life and that you are apart of ours. We miss you and your family, I know we will see you soon.

Love,

The Sell Family

Hi Everyone, I'm glad Robyn was able to get up and move around a bit, that has to be a relief after so long in bed.
Ditto on the appreciation for her great husband.
If you have time, check out this blog. I have been following this little boy's journey for quite a while, but now that he's gotten his new lungs, he hardly ever updates because he feels so doggone good :) Check out the photos, he has gone from frail to a healthy looking little boy.

Keep on getting better!
